For our Office in Athens we are looking for a motivated:
People Operations Specialist (m/f/d)



What you’ll be doing

Your responsibilities as People & Culture Specialist:

  • You act as the main point of contact for our Greek Employees in all relevant People topics (e.g. Benefits administration, payroll coordination)

  • You support our Talent Attraction in the entire applicant management process incl. preparation of job descriptions, job ads postings, recruitment analytics, etc.

  • You foster OroraTech culture in our Greek office (employee engagement, healthy workplace culture & well-being)

  • You work closely with our People Operations Team in Munich HQ:

    • Responsible for the onboarding process from hiring to the first work day (be the main contact person for the new hire and set up Personio)

    • Maintain personnel data on Personio

    • Communicate & coordinate new hire registration with our tax advisor

    • Responsible for payroll process and provide our greek tax advisor with all payroll relevant information and documentation, cross-check, approve & close greek payroll

Your responsibilities as Office Manager:

  • Meeting Coordination: Assist in scheduling, preparing for external meetings.

  • Information Hub: Serving as a central point for employees to get answers to common questions about office procedures or resources.

  • Event Planning: Organizing company events, social gatherings, and team-building activities.

  • Expense Reports: Assisting staff with submitting expense reports and ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Maintaining Office Infrastructure: Ensuring the office space is functional, clean, and well-maintained (e.g., coordinating repairs, managing utilities, liaising with landlords or building management).

  • Supplies Management: Ordering, stocking, and organizing office supplies, equipment, and pantry items.

  • Software and Hardware Inventory: Keeping track of office software licenses and hardware. ordering new equipment when needed.

Relevant Skills

  • You have 2-3 years experience as HR/Office Manager

  • You have good knowledge of Greek Labour Law and employment practices, with practical experience. Knowledge of other international labor law regulations is a plus.

  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills — you’re approachable, empathetic, and trustworthy

  • You are very well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

  • You are a problem solver and have make-thing-happen attitude

  • You have a very good command of English.
